FAQ
1. What can you take off of my credit bureau report?
We can take off unpaid collections, charge-offs, repossessions, bankruptcies, medical bills, foreclosures, tax liens, civil liens, judgments, student loans, credit card debt, inquiries, slow pays, old addresses and all incorrect names.
2. How long does information remain on my report?
Credit bureaus report credit information for a period of seven (7) years. Some states have special provisions for collections and paid liens. Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcies are each reported for 10 years and the date is measured from the date of the filing.
3. Why do Credit Bureaus not want me to use a Credit Repair Company?
The credit bureaus do not like credit repair companies. They are in the business of accepting the information from creditors and consider it as accurate unless proven inaccurate. Many who start repairing their credit turn to a credit repair company after months of work.
4. How long would it take Certified Credit Consultants to improve my credit scores?
It depends on many variables. Our system has seen improvements posted as quickly as 2 weeks while other repair projects have taken up to 6 months. On average 75 days! There really is no “Credit Fairy”!
5. What should I do with the mailed credit reports that I get from the credit bureaus?
We need the information to update your file and determine the next course of action. Make copies and send it to us.
6. How often should I expect to get mail from the credit bureaus?
You should receive your first responses within 45 days with an updated credit report.
7. Will the accounts you take off my credit bureau report ever come back?
On average only 1 out of 10,000 will re-appear back on your credit when we remove the account. After the account has been deleted two times, by law it cannot be put back on your credit report.
8. Should I pay off my past due bills:
The current credit reporting system is unique in determining scores. One of the flaws with the current system is that when you pay a current overdue bill or collection it actually lowers your scores. This actually penalizes the creditor for paying off old debts.
9. How does a Credit Bureau make money?
Credit bureaus are private corporations that are in the business of making money by selling your credit report to others. The lower your credit score the more money they make. They have every incentive to keep a system in place that is so confusing to the average person that consumers are confused as to how to get a better credit score.
10. Who can see my credit report?
Any company that is a member of one of the credit reporting agencies. This may include an insurance company, a prospective landlord, a prospective employer, a collector or a government official.
11. Why should I use a Credit Repair Company?
I explain it this way. You can change the oil in your car but most of us do not have the time or expert skills necessary to complete this task without damaging our car. Some have tried to fix their credit themselves with limited results. We highly recommend that you hire us and have the peace of mind that experts are working to get the best results. Your credit is too important to you and your family to gamble with.
12. How does Certified Credit Consultants legally remove derogatory credit items from my file?
Is if no different than pleading “not guilty” in a court of law. It is your right to dispute items on your credit report. We use legal methods afforded consumers un the Fair Credit Reporting Act to dispute items on your credit report that are not 100% accurate.
13. Do you guarantee your service?
Yes. You only pay when we are successful. It’s that simple, you pay only when we “Improve or Remove” an item on your credit file. We are the only firm to take all the risks, do all the work, and get paid only upon positive results! So what are you waiting for, hire us today and start on the road to better credit scores!
Will you continue to make excuses, or actually do something today?
All too often we have heard someone say “I’ll get started next week.” We promise you, if you don’t take action, your credit problems will continue to haunt you. Your life is too important to wait for. Stop putting it off! Let us help you today.
Do any of these excuses sound like your own?
“If I just wait long enough, it will all just go away on its own.” We can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard that one. Sure, you could wait 7 to 10 years for your bad credit to go away, or you can take action today and start enjoying the benefits of better credit much sooner.
“I have no clue where to begin.” Almost every client we have met has felt this way. Let us help you begin it is really simple you just have to take the first step.
“I am scared to look at what is on my credit report” Many clients are like this you’re not alone. We promise you that checking your credit is not scary at all. You might even be surprised to find there are not the “monsters” you thought there were!
“My credit will be impossible to repair.” The funny thing is that every time we’ve heard that, it has almost always been just the opposite. Remember you miss 100% of the shots you do not take!
“My credit situation is beyond all hope.” By far our favorite client statement, and the one that is the furthest from the truth. There is always action that can be taken to improve your credit. You can recover from these problems. Stop letting your excuses control your future.
“My Husband, Wife, Sister, Parents, Insert your excuse here has excellent credit that I can use.” There will come a day, through life’s way of dealing out surprises, that the very credit crutch you have been depending on will no longer be there for you. What will you do then?
“I can’t afford to fix my credit.” Let me tell you this is just plain wrong. You can’t afford not to do something about your bad credit, and the sooner you take the first step, the better.
“If I try to have my credit repaired, it will just make it worse.” Many clients have expressed this concern. They believe that creditors will come after them with “super human powers” for even thinking of using a credit restoration program. So the client hides just under the radar doing nothing at all about their bad credit. Thinking that if they stay quiet no one will come after them, and all of their problems will just go away. This is just ridiculous, and believe me doing nothing may even end up prolonging the pain.
“I am ashamed to admit I have bad credit” Denial is not going to change the fact that your credit is bad. You need to just admit you have a problem and get some help.
“I can live with bad credit” Many people have learned to live with bad credit, barely getting by, paying cash for everything, and often times robbing Peter to pay Paul. If you would simply take the steps to clear up the credit troubles you have, your life would be so much easier.
“I am too busy to fix my credit” You probably are too busy, because you are spending all your time trying to figure out how you will navigate all the obstacles your bad credit is throwing your way. Think of all the free time you would have if all your credit troubles were gone.
The list goes on and on, but we are sure it all sounds all too familiar. Let’s make a change for you today. Take the first step by ordering our program.
